Recently I went to Ruby Tuesdays in Heath Ohio for lunch. I had not been there in awhile and a good salad and burger sounded like just the ticket. I was exhausted and had been through the ringer for a couple days when I wearily sat down at the table.
Thankfully we had a great waitress that quickly brought me a fabulous tasting glass of brewed ice tea. She even remembered not to put lemon in my tea so I was pretty impressed.
When she brought my food she seemed a little embarrassed as she sat this plate of sliders down in front of me. I immediately smiled and she explained that the cook did this and she had never seen him do it before. I told her to tell the cook that he had just made a bad day much brighter! I was actually thrilled that someone took the time to brighten the day of someone they don't know and will probably never see again.
The salad bar was excellent, the sliders were great, the tea was perfect and the service was fabulous. And this is why I don't mind paying their somewhat highish prices.
Funny how such a small thing can make a day so much brighter!
